Country Music Star Easton Corbin to Headline U.S. 250 Freedom Tour Kickoff Concert in Childersburg, Alabama.

Chart-Topping Artist Brings His Signature Sound to John Cox Stadium on April 11 as Part of the Nation’s Landmark 250th Anniversary Celebration

CHILDERSBURG, AL – Easton Corbin is set to headline the U.S. 250 Freedom Tour’s kickoff weekend, taking the stage at John Cox Stadium in Childersburg, Alabama on Saturday, April 11, 2026 as part of a full two-day celebration on April 11 & 12 that will mark the launch of the tour’s historic 50-state journey across America.

With special guest Griffith joining him on stage, the Saturday night concert promises to be a landmark night of live music in one of America’s most historically significant communities – and just one highlight of an unforgettable weekend of the family-friendly patriotic celebration.

Corbin, known for his smooth traditional country style and a string of hits including “Roll with It,” “All Over the Road,” and “A Little More Country Than That,” brings a proven stage presence and a deep connection to the values at the heart of the U.S. 250 Freedom Tour – faith, family, and the American spirit.

Gates open at 5 PM with the show getting underway at 6 PM. General Admission tickets are $25, Preferred Seating is available at $40, and VIP packages are also on offer for those looking for a premium experience.

The concert serves as the centerpiece of a two-day kickoff celebration in Childersburg – nationally recognized as the oldest continuously occupied settlement in the United States (Est. 1540) – making it a uniquely powerful setting to launch a tour commemorating 250 years of American history. Beyond the Saturday night concert, the weekend features two full days of free, family-friendly events through the tour’s signature Freedom Village, open daily in Downtown Childersburg from 10 AM to 5 PM.

The weekend’s free daytime programming is anchored by the Freedom Village in Downtown Childersburg, open both days from 10 AM to 5 PM. Designed as an immersive, hands-on celebration of American heritage, Freedom Village brings history to life through colonial-era demonstrations, artisan workshops, blacksmiths, weavers, costumed historical reenactors, and photo opportunities with Founding-era figures. A bustling Market Square featuring local vendors and themed merchandise rounds out the experience, creating a true community gathering place at the heart of the celebration.

Families with children will find a special destination within Freedom Village through Liberty Kids America – an interactive area featuring face painting and a cast of costumed characters representing figures from throughout American history, designed to teach younger generations about the true heritage and founding traditions of the United States in an engaging, memorable way.

Saturday’s daytime festivities also include live performances on the Heritage Stage in Downtown Childersburg featuring Master’s Voice and more before the evening concert kicks off at John Cox Stadium.

Sunday carries its own distinct spirit, opening with Worship on the Heritage Stage before giving way to a full afternoon of programming. Gospel favorites The Hoppers, Griffith and more take the stage, followed by a special City Presentation honoring Childersburg’s remarkable place in American history and a closing Freedom 250 Show — making Sunday a powerful, faith-centered cap to an unforgettable weekend.

The Childersburg kickoff marks just the beginning of a celebration that continues through the year, carrying the U.S. 250 Freedom Tour through all 50 states and bringing Americans together in a shared recognition of the faith, sacrifice, and resilience that have shaped this nation for two and a half centuries. Whether you’re there for the music, the history, or simply to be part of something bigger than yourself, Childersburg, Alabama is where it all begins – and there has never been a better time to be an American.
